Nanovis launches expanded FortiCore line: 4 key notes

Nanovis launched the expanded FortiCore line of interbody fusion devices at the North American Spine Society annual meeting.

Here are five key notes on the technology:

 

1. The FortiCore is a wedge shaped lordotic cervical cage and a transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion device with increased scaffolding.

 

2. The technology combines PEEK with titanium. The device is a deeply porous titanium scaffold with a PEEK center.

 

3. Surgeons have implanted more than 400 FortiCore devices throughout the United States.

 

4. The device is designed to increase positive outcomes in spinal procedures with the imaging capabilities some surgeons prefer.
