Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Erica Bisson of University of Utah Health Care

Board-certified neurosurgeon Erica Bisson, MD, is an assistant professor in University of Utah’s neurosurgery department. A fellow of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Bisson is also a part of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Bisson specializes in occipitocervical disease, cervical degenerative disorders, advanced spinal fusion and image-guided surgery.

 

Once Dr. Bisson earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, she completed a general surgery internship and neurosurgery residency at University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. Dr. Bisson then completed a spine surgery fellowship at University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City.
