Dr. Dominic Femiano joins Oly Ortho in Washington: 5 notes

Olympia (Wash.) Orthopaedic Associates welcomed Dominic Femiano, MD, to its team, according to KXRO News Radio.

Here are five notes:

 

1. Dr. Femiano will join the orthopedic group’s sports medicine clinic.

 

2. He will work with Tracy Hamblin, MD, who has offered care at the clinic for more than a year.

 

3. Dr. Femiano graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He then completed a family medicine residency at Group Health Cooperative in Seattle and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Washington.

 

4. Dr. Femiano will also be the team doctor for Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Wash.

 

5. He researches the treatment of cardiac arrest in young athletes.
