Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Matthew Zmurko of Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Matthew G. Zmurko, MD, has worked for Vermont Orthopaedic Clinic in Rutland since 2007.

Specializing in disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, Dr. Zmurko performs minimally invasive spine surgery.

 

After earning his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Zmurko completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University-Detroit Medical Center. He then completed a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia Health System.
