Dr. Christopher Elder joins Mission Health: 3 points

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health added Christopher Elder, MD, to its physician team, according to a Citizen-Times report.

Here are three points:

 

1. Dr. Elder focuses on arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine, with a special focus on shoulder, knee and hip surgeries.

 

2. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and practices at Asheville Orthopaedic Associates.

 

3. He has been with AOA since 2002 and performs hip arthroscopies on a regular basis.
