Here are five observations:

1. The three-dimensional model is designed to help physicians diagnose and plan surgery.

2. Sergio Aguirre of Echopixel said the technology allows physicians to understand medical scans in a more realistic light, that of a three-dimensional body.

3. The technology paired with startup ZSpace’s monitor and glasses provides an experience for surgeons to practice surgery.

4. Surgeons can see tissues and blood vessels with the technology.

5. This technology has the potential to cut surgery times and costs.
