New UVA orthopedics clinic to open in Culpeper: 4 notes

The University of Virginia Health System will open an orthopedic clinic at UVA Culpeper Hospital in the fall, according to Culpeper Star Exponent.

Here are four notes:

 

1. The new clinic will be called UVA Orthopedics Culpeper.

 

2. Fellowship-trained sports medicine and joint replacement surgeons will offer treatments at the new center.

 

3. The clinic will offer hip, knee and shoulder replacements, as well as complex arthroscopy, fracture care, arthritis treatment and tendon, muscle and ligament repair.

 

4. The orthopedics clinic will work with physical therapists at UVA Culpeper Hospital.
