2. According to Dr. Ziu, “To me Pope Francis is very close to what Mother Teresa was. Being very open and talking to everybody.”

 

3. Dr. Ziu is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with Seton Brain & Spine Institute in Austin.

 

4. He focuses on treating conditions such as skull base pathologies, traumatic and degenerative spine disease, traumatic brain injury and peripheral nerve disorders.

 

5. He completed a neuro-oncology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
