Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Jeffrey A. Ackerman of Illinois Bone & Joint Institute

Jeffrey A. Ackerman, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in Chicago. He specializes in hip and knee reconstruction as well as hip preservation. Dr. Ackerman is one a select few surgeons trained in hip arthroscopy and open pelvic osteotomy surgery.

After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Ackerman completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. and went on to complete his fellowship at Washington University in Saint Louis.
