Dr. Aizer received the Innovative Education Grant from the Hospital for Special Surgery Academy of Rheumatology Medical Educators from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Weill Cornell Medical College granted Dr. Aizer the Award For Teaching Excellence in 2013. She is a member of several organizations including the American College of Physicians, Arthritis Foundation, National Osteoporosis Foundation and American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
Dr. Aizer earned her medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University and went on to complete her residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. After completing her residency, Dr. Aizer completed her fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
