Northwest Health adds spine center: 6 points

Northwest Health System will open a new spine center in Bentonville, Ark., in September, according to nwahomepage.com.

Here are six points:

 

1. The new center will be named the Orthopedic and Spine Center at Northwest Medical Center.

 

2. The spine center will be 6,200 square feet.

 

3. Patients needing spine surgery or hip or knee replacement can receive treatment at this center.

 

4. The center plans to implement a family-focused strategy, with family members very involved in the recovery of the patients.

 

5. A pre-surgery education class will also be offered for patients and family members to fully understand the process.

 

6. Physical therapists and registered nurses fill out the center’s staff.
