Centegra Health System acquires McHenry County Orthopaedics: 5 things to know

Crystal Lake, Ill.-based Centegra Health System has acquired Huntley, Ill.-based McHenry County Orthopaedics, according to a Northwest Herald report.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The physicians of the practice will operate under the name Centegra Physician Care-McHenry County Orthopaedics.

 

2. The practice employs 80 physicians and staff members, who will continue to provide care for their existing patients at their existing locations.

 

3. The acquisition allows the practice improved access to clinical resources and electronic record information.

 

4. The practice offers treatments for the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions.

 

5. The acquisition will take effect on Oct. 1.
