Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Jeffrey Oppenheimer of New Jersey Spine & Orthopedic

Steven Schiebert, MD, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon at New Jersey Spine & Orthopedic. The American College of Surgeons honored him with the Advanced Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.

Specializing in general orthopedic and spine surgery, Dr. Schiebert performs procedures of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. These procedures include discectomy, laminectomy, decompression, arthrodesis, correction of adult spine deformities, spine trauma and minimally invasive surgeries.

 

Dr. Schiebert completed a spine surgery fellowship at Brown University in Providence, R.I., where he was a clinical instructor at Warren Alpert Medical School.
