AOSSM elects Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph to presidential line — 5 key points

The American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, a prominent orthopedic sports medicine society, elected Charles Bush-Joseph, MD, to serve as vice president for 2015.

Here are five key points on Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph.

 

1. In addition to service as vice president for 2015,  he will serve as president elect for 2016 and president for 2017.

 

2. While on board, Dr. Bush-Joseph will advance the goals of the orthopedic sports medicine research and education, clinical practice and industry relations.

 

3. He presently serves as the head team physician for the Chicago White Sox and the associate team physician for the Chicago Bulls.

 

4. He was elected president of the Major League Baseball Team Physician Association for 2012.

 

5. Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph is a professor at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and is the associate director of the Rush Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.
