Bone Biologics named Stephen R. La Neve CEO and President.

The company also named Jeffrey Frelick COO. Mr. La Neve replacements interim CEO Michael Schuler.

 

Here are five things to know about Mr. La Neve:

 

1. He has 30 years of healthcare experience and leadership. He previously served as CEO and president of Etex.

 

2. Mr. La Neve’s experience includes time as president of Medtronic’s $3.5 billion spine and biologics business and president of Medtronic Japan, the company’s second largest country business unit.

 

3. In addition to his current role, Mr. La Neve consults for private equity companies in the medical device arena.

 

4. He earned his MBA from West Chester University and is a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon honor society for academic excellence in economics.

 

5. The new positions will be effective Aug. 17.
