Tyber Medical to build new headquarters in Northampton County: 5 key points

Tyber Medical, an orthopedics device company in spine and trauma markets, will open a new site in Northampton County, Pa.

1. The new location will be the company’s corporate headquarters and manufacturing operation.

 

2. This addition will create 25 new full-time jobs over the next three years.

 

3. Tyber Medical expects to invest $386,600 in the 4,200-square-foot site.

 

4. The company received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development, which included a Pennsylvania First Program grant of $50,000 and $75,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits.

 

5. The Governor’s Action Team, economic development professionals who report to Governor Tom Wolf, coordinated the project.

 

6. Tyber Medical’s headquarters and manufacturing operations are currently in Morristown, N.J.
