Envision Healthcare and InTouch Health partnership expands reach of telemedicine clinical services: 5 key facts

Envision Healthcare, parent to physician-led companies, will partner with InTouch Health, a telepath platform, to provide an expanded network of patient care in acute, ambulatory and community care settings.

Here are five key facts:

 

1. Together, Envision and InTouch can offer care to a vast array of patients around the country and world at any time.

 

2. Envision Healthcare, headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colo., has 27,000 clinicians, with companies including American Medical Response and EmCare.

 

3. InTouch Health provides services for more than 1,300 hospital locations, serving more than 30 clinical specialties in the United States and in 34 countries. Its Telehealth Network is growing at a rate of one hospital location per day.

 

4. The partnership allows the two companies to reach an audience of more than 14.6 million patients and more than 4,600 hospitals in 2,100 communities across 41 states.

 

5. Yulun Wang, PhD, chairman and CEO of InTouch Health, will chair the “Care Across Continuum” scientific program at the ninth Telehealth Innovation Forum in July.
