Intelligent Implant Systems has closed a significant round of financing.

Here are five observations:

 

1. The financing round will help fund the ongoing launch and sales of the company’s Revolution Spinal System.

 

2. The implant has the ability to connect multiple bone screws while adjusting for angulation and distance between the bone screws.

 

3. Also, the bone screws are cannulated for use in minimally invasive surgical procedures.

 

4. The funds were raised in conjunction with Yadkin Small Business Lending, a division of North Carolina’s Yadkin Bank.

 

5. Intelligent Implant Systems aims to develop and market innovative surgical solutions for orthopedics as well as for both fusion and non-fusion spine applications.
