UT partners with Washington Campus for new leadership program — 5 things to know

The University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business is partnering with the Washington Campus to offer education on healthcare policy, regulation and how they can become leaders in the healthcare industry, according to Wate.

Here are five thngs to know:

 

1. The course will be limited to 25 students.

 

2. Speakers will include professors from George Washington University and individuals from Congressional Budget office, American Medical Association and the Federal Trade Commission among others.

 

3. The program is driven by healthcare leader’s desire to make a bigger impact in the healthcare field.

 

4. Attendees also will have the opportunity to have their voices heard by policy makers in Washington.

 

5. Requirements for attendees include the individual have to be in healthcare as a clinician or a business leader.
