Trident Brands appoints Dr. Neilank Jha special advisor to Brain Armor — 6 notes

Trident Bands appointed Neilank Jha, MD, as special advisor to its Brain Armor subsidiary, according to Stockhouse.

1. Dr. Jha, a board certified neurosurgeon, is one of the United States’ top concussion experts.

 

2. He has published several articles, papers and book chapters while additionally presenting different abstracts at scientific meetings in Canada and the United States.

 

3. Dr. Jha is the founder and chairman of the KONKUSSION program. The program entails athletes undergoing an annual baseline test consisting of a neurocognitive test, neurophysical and a fitness test.

 
4. Michael Browne, president of Trident, stated the company will work with Dr. Jha to accomplish his goal of revolutionizing and redefining the management of concussions.

 

5. Brain Armor, a plant-based DHA supplement, is designed for athletes.

 

6. DHA is incorporated into the membrane of every cell in the body and is specifically concentrated in the gray matter of the brain, the retina of the eyes and heart tissue.
