1. The first patient is enrolled at The Ohio State University for the procedure.

2. H. Francis Farhadi, MD, PhD, is the principal investigator of the study at Ohio State.

3. The Jazz Band system is designed for patients with degenerative bone that acts as an adjunct to spinal fusion.

4. There are additional patients expected to enroll in the study during the second half of the year.

5. Implanet has FDA clearance for the Jazz Band and recently signed seven new sales partners and strengthened the sales management team.

“At Ohio State, we are always in search of innovative technologies to advance the treatment of complex spinal pathologies,” said Dr. Farhadi. “We are excited to have started the Jazz Band study and look forward to analyzing the potential clinical and economic benefits of sublaminar band technology in complex spinal fusions.”
