Here are five key notes:
1. Verde’s Deterra partnership program uses patented MAT12 Molecular Adsorption Technology to deactivate opioids, antibiotics, transdermal patches and other prescription drugs that are not needed.
2. Thus, the program provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to safely deactivate and dispose of unused prescription medications.
3. Through the program, Twin Cities Orthopedics will provide surgery patients at its Edina, Minn., location with Deterra System pouches and educational information at the time of discharge.
4. The practice provides the full-spectrum of musculoskeletal care and includes board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic specialists.
5. There are plans to expand the program beyond the Edina location in the future.
