Tidelands Health names Dr. T. Scott Ellison to board of trustees: 5 things to know

Orthopedic spine surgeon T. Scott Ellison, MD, has been elected to the Tidelands Health board of trustees, according to a South Strand News report.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Dr. Ellison practices with Tidelands Waccamaw Orthopaedics and Spine, which he joined 2012.

 

2. He previously practiced spine surgery in both Charlotte and Salisbury, N.C.

 

3. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society.

 

4. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and a fellowship in spine surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.

 

5. Dr. Ellison has been elected to the board of trustees for a two-year term.
