BMJ has added a new international sports medicine journal to its portfolio.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. BMJ added The Journal of ISAKOS: Joint Disorders & Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

 

2. The addition will serve as an official journal of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

 

3. The journal will be a peer-reviewed, and it will help specialists stay up-to-date with the latest clinical developments and evidence-based guidelines.

 

4. It is due to launch in spring 2016.
