Mountain View Regional Hospital acquires Central Wyoming Neurosurgery: 5 things to know

Mountain View Regional Hospital in Casper, Wyo., acquired Casper-based Central Wyoming Neurosurgery.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The acquisition of Central Wyoming Neurosurgery includes its Mountain View Clinic in Casper, as well as its network of 14 orthopedic, spine and neurosurgery clinics across the state and the Mountain View Imaging Center.

 

2. CWN’s imaging center features an open MRI, a rapid acquisition 64-slice CT scanner and digital X-ray capabilities.

 

3. Mountain View Regional Hospital is a joint venture between local physicians and National Surgical Healthcare, an owner and operator of surgical hospitals and surgery centers.

 

4. Mountain View Regional Hospital is a neurosurgery- and orthopedic-focused facility, which has four operating rooms, two treatment rooms, intensive care capabilities and 23 inpatient beds.

 

5. The acquisition will unify MVRH’s campus, which is expected to continue to attract patients from Wyoming and Western Nebraska.
