Dr. Brick Lantz provides volunteer care in Haiti — 4 quick facts

Brick Lantz, MD, of Slocum Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Eugene, Ore., recently traveled to Haiti on a medical mission trip.

Here are four quick facts:

 

1. Dr. Lantz and his team evaluated more than 100 patients and performed more than 20 surgeries.

 

2. Dr. Lantz has made six medical mission trips to Haiti, in addition to similar trips to Ecuador, Kenya, Mexico and Russia.

 

3. Dr. Lantz is a general orthopedic surgeon focusing on knees, sports medicine, total knee replacement and arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee.

 

4. He completed a knee and sports medicine fellowship at the Australia Institute of Musculoskeletal Research in Sydney.
