3 Orthopedic Physicians Join Houston’s Methodist Willowbrook Hospital

Korsh Jafarnia, MD, Travis Hanson, MD, Bruce Moseley, MD, and Plinio Caldera, MD, joined the Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in Houston to provide care in orthopedics and sports medicine, according to a hospital news release.

Dr. Jafarnia has a professional interest in carpal tunnel syndrome, ligament reconstruction and upper extremity surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is also chief of staff at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital and professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Hanson is a sports medicine physician with a focus on foot and ankle injuries. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Hanson is team physician for Rice University and U.S. Soccer national teams.

Dr. Moseley practices sports medicine with a focus on knee and shoulder. He is the recipient of the DeBakely Award for outstanding research and a former team physician with the Houston Rockets and Houston Comets.

Dr. Caldera has a professional interest in orthopedic trauma with emphasis on arthroscopic surgery and total knee and hip replacements. Dr. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
