Orthofix Appoints Former Stryker Executive as President of Spinal Implants Division

Kevin L. Unger has been appointed president of Boston-based Orthofix International’s spinal implants division, according to a release from Orthofix.

Mr. Unger joins Orthofix after more than 14 years with Stryker Corp., where he last served as a vice president and general manager of Stryker’s MedSurg Division, where sales grew from $30 million to $200 million under his leadership.

In Orthofix’s recently reported second quarter financial results, the spinal implants division showed a growth of 12 percent over the prior year.
