AAOS names Dr. David Mansfield board of councilors chair

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons named David J. Mansfield, MD, chair of the board of councilors.

Dr. Mansfield is a partner at El Paso (Texas) Orthopaedic Surgery Group and chief of orthopedic service at El Paso Specialty Hospital. He also serves as team physician for the University of Texas at El Paso athletic program. He completed his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

 

The BOC represents orthopedic surgeons across the country and serves as an advisory body to the AAOS Board of Directors and a resource to AAOS committees.
