• As part of the three-year deal, Medline will offer its portfolio of patient-care products to AAOS members at a savings of 10 percent to 30 percent.
• It will also offer quality assurance programs and clinical solutions on pressure ulcer reduction, continence management, falls prevention and other critical areas.
• Also, AAOS members can access more than 250 continuing education courses from the company’s online education resource Medline University for free.
“In an effort to improve the operating income, clinical effectiveness and supply chain efficiency of our members, I am pleased to announce that Medline is the preferred partner of the AAOS Member Advantage Program for supply distribution services, custom procedure trays and orthopedics. We have entered into this partnership to help orthopedic practices and surgery centers reduce expenses, increase productivity and save time,” said John Cherf, MD, MPH, MBA, chair of the AAOS Practice Management Committee.
