The food truck program aims at reducing food insecurity in Tampa Bay, and the initiative is supported through a partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Feeding America Tampa Bay and Metropolitan Ministries. It was launched in October and through the program, Laser Spine Institute donates a meal to a child in the area for every meal sold by the truck and for each use of a hashtag on social media, according to the report.
