Neurosurgeon and chief medical correspondent for CNN Sanjay Gupta, MD, received the Alfred I. duPont Award for his coverage of medical marijuana, according to a Newswise report.

Dr. Gupta will be featured on the April issue of Neurosurgery for his work on medical marijuana. His documentary, titled WEED: Dr. Sanjay Gupta was named one of 14 Alfred I. DuPont award winners. Here are five things to know:
