Dr. Rothman’s article noted that while certain factors, such as genetics and infections, are outside our control, other aspects of a healthy lifestyle, such as physical exercise and a wholesome diet are in our hands.
Dr. Rothman, in addition to founding The Rothman Institute, is also the James Edwards Professor of the department of orthopedic surgery at Philadelphia-based Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University.
