The center provides services for athletes, and the new location will include a synthetic turf field, basketball courts and a pro-style weight room. Wake Forest Baptist has an ownership stake in the new center and will be its medical partner. It will provide services in orthopedics, sports medicine, sports physical therapy and rehabilitation. The center is slated to open in late summer or fall, according to the report.
