Berkshire Health Systems now owns the hospital and invested $6 million in renovating and opening the two ORs for orthopedic procedures. The health system has state permits for the new operating rooms and purchased new equipment focused on orthopedic surgery.
North Adams Regional Hospital also operates as a “satellite emergency facility” for Berkshire Health Systems.
