Dallen Medical’s Tensyn Plug receives FDA clearance

Dallen Medical received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Tensyn Plug, the first adjustable orthopedic fixation device.

The Tensyn Plug offers a lower profile, knotless fixation implant that its predecessor, the Tensyn Band. The plug enables surgeons to adjust the implant prior to locking into place. The device is now cleared for syndesmosis, AC/CC joint stabilization as well as mid-foot, lower foot and wrist and hand repair.
