Dr. Shankwiler will lead the medical staff, which includes 800 active physicians serving the greater San Gabriel Valley. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and member of the Congress of Orthopedic Associates. He is also an orthopedic consultant ant team physician for Pasadena City College.
Dr. Shankwiler has authored several book chapters on shoulder and elbow pathology and he continues his work as a clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Southern California. Dr. Shankwiler earned his medical degree at the University of Southern California and completed his fellowship at W.B. Carrell Memorial Clinic at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas.
