Dr. Arle’s clinical interests include neuromodulation, epilepsy, neuroprosthetics, complex spine disorders and brain tumors. He previously served as director of Functional Neurosurgery and neurosurgery research at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass.
Dr. Arle has a wide array of research interests, including computational modeling and analysis of neural circuitry and function, specifically with regard to the effects of electrical stimulation on the nervous system as well as developing novel implantable devices for interfacing with the nervous system.
Dr. Arle earned his medical degree at University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Additionally, he has completed an epilepsy and movement disorder surgery fellowship at New York University.
