Indianapolis’ Riley Hospital for Children Develops Youth Sports Medicine Program

The Riley Hospital for Children, affiliated with Indiana University in Indianapolis, developed the Riley Sports Medicine Program to provide pediatric sports medicine treatment with a focus on concussion management for young athletes, according to a report from The Indianapolis Star.

The program targets middle school and high school athletes and expects to treat 1,200 patients in its first year. The program has locations in Carmel, Avon and Greenwood, Ind. Program physicians will be able to provide treatment for concussions and growth plate injuries.
