Dr. David Altchek performs elbow surgery on Blue Jays’ Daniel Norris

David Altchek, MD, recently performed elbow surgery on Blue Jays left-hander Daniel Norris, according to an ESPN report.

Dr. Altchek is an attending orthopedic surgeon and co-chief emeritus in the sports medicine and shoulder service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He performed arthroscopic surgery to remove bone spurs and loose bodies in Mr. Norris’ pitching elbow, according to the report.
