North Shore-LIJ Health System establishes spine center

Great Neck, N.Y.-based North Shore-LIJ Health System established a new spine center.

The center will include 10 physicians focusing on neurosurgery, orthopedics and physiatry. In addition, the group will collaborate with neurologists, rheumatologists, imaging specialists, physical therapists and psychologists.

 

The center will be led by Jason Lipetz, MD, division chief of spine medicine. He is a physiatrist and non-surgical spine specialist.

 

The center will include a number of locations throughout Long Island.
