The Dallas Mavericks players are using devices to assess training loads to help limit soft-tissue injuries. The device produces real-time data on accelerations, decelerations and jump height and frequency. The players can examine data and adjust their workouts accordingly.

There are also Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs players who are using the device. The wearable devices are from Catapult.
