Darrel S. Brodke, MD (University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City). Dr. Brodke is a board-certified spine specialist with a special interest in treating degenerative disorders. He is the Louis Janet Peery Presidential Endowed Chair and professor and vice chairman if the department of orthopedics.

 

Dr. Brodke’s research focuses on spinal biomechanics and patient-reported outcomes studies. He’s made presentations nationally and internationally based on his research. He also serves as director of the spine service and spinal disorders fellowship in the orthopedics department. He served on the Cervical Spine Research Society executive board.

 

Dr. Brodke earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. His additional training includes a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Washington Spine and Neck.
