J. Rafe Sales, MD (Summit Spine Institute, Portland).
Dr. Sales is the founder of Summit Spine Institute, specializing in the minimally invasive treatment of spinal disc herniations, artificial disc replacement, sacroiliac joint fusion and lateral spinal fusion procedures. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Sales is a member of the North American Spine Society and American
Spinal Injury Association. He earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. His additional training includes a spine surgrey fellowship at the San Francisco Spine Institute.
