William Abdu, MD (Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H.). Dr. Abdu is an associate professor of orthopedics at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He is a spine surgeon at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and has a special interest in value-based spine care. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Abdu is associated with Dartmouth’s orthopedic residency training program.
Dr. Abdu also serves as medical director of Dartmouth’s spine center. His practice focuses on treatment for spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal cord injury and spinal trauma among other conditions.
Dr. Abdu earned his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed a master’s degree at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice in Hanover, N.H. His additional training includes a residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in orthopedic surgery and spine surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
