Robert L. Tatsumi, MD (Legacy Health, Tualatin, Ore.). Dr. Tatsumi is a spine surgeon at Legacy Health. He previously practiced with Pacific Spine Specialists. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery and artificial disc replacement. He’s also an instructor for other spine surgeons in less invaisive procedures.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tatsumi is involved in biomechanical and clinical research studies. He published a paper evaluating radiation safety during minimally invasive lumbar procedures.
Dr. Tatsumi earned his medical degree at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. His additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at LA Spine Institute.
