William Stevens, MD (OrthoArizona Center for Spinal Disorders, Phoenix). Dr. Stevens founded the Center for Spinal Disorders in 2003. He has a special interest in spinal disorders and is an active member of the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Scoliosis Research Society.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Stevens conducts research and has published several articles. He also travels to the Bahamas annually for a surgical mission trip to serve patients with spinal disorders.
Dr. Stevens earned his medical degree at Brown University in Providence, R.I., and completed his fellowship in spine surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He also underwent a residency in orthopedic surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
