William Mitchell, MD (Coastal Orthopedics, Mt. Laurel, N.J.).
Dr. Mitchell is a board-certified neurosurgeon with a special interest in treating spinal disorders. He has served on the board of directors for the North American Spine Society and been program chair for the organization’s national meeting. He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurosurgeons.
Dr. Mitchell also focuses on research related tp minimally invasive spine surgery. He takes cases to Virtua Marlton and JFK Medical Center in Edison, N.J.
Dr. Mitchell earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. His additional training includes a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship in spine surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
