Daniel E. Gelb, MD (University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore). Dr, Gelb is the co-director of the University of Maryland Spine Program and associate professor of orthopedics at the University of Maryland. He previously served as an assistant professor of orthopedics at Penn State University College of Medicine.

 

Dr. Gelb has a special interest in adult and pediatric spinal deformity and degenerative conditions. He is a member of the AOA medical honor society and received the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation Grant for research in autocrine regulation of chondrocyte maturation.

 

Dr. Gelb earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Rochester. He completed additional training at Washington University in St. Louis and the Yves Cotrel Fellowship for spine surgery in Paris.
