The Sacred Heart Spine Center hopes to serve around 1,700 patients annually, said Carolyn Duquette, operations director of PeaceHealth specialty divisions. The medical team at the spine center will include neurosurgeons, physical therapists, physiatrists as well as wellness professionals, including a dietician, and a psychologist.
According to the report, PeaceHealth is spending approximately $2.5 million to launch the center. The costs are mostly associated with staffing.
